What makes your heart sing?

More than 18 years ago, this simple question changed my life.

"Helping families of students with disabilities" was my answer - that realization changed my world.

It inspired me to leave my corporate career and to dedicate my efforts to being a Special Education Advocate. At the time I was a successful Executive in the financial services industry. In addition to managing the special education journey of my own children, I volunteered as an educational surrogate parent to children in foster care and who were wards of the state. I also provided pro bono assistance to inner-city families of children with disabilities.

Since that time, I have operated on one driving principle: "My job is to work myself out of a job."

I dedicate my time to ravenously consuming knowledge in the field [Read here: www.linkedin.com/in/cynthia-moore], applying my talents to improving outcomes for non-profits and for-profit businesses that support students with disabilities, driving legislative and systemic change, teaching and mentoring other advocates, and to supporting individual families on their child's educational journey.

I am honored to have enabled to two decades of children to blossom into their potential, parents to become activists, families to heal, passionate people to become advocates, organizations and teams to collaborate, and systems to improve.

I look forward to working together to manifest a world where educational equity exists and all children are able to reach their potential.
